You seem to be asking the same question in almost every anti-blur threads and it always usually gets answered. It has been answered here yet again.
Do you only run stock manufacturer ROMs on your phones?

yes, i stated that ive asked the same question in these types of threads. unless they got answered and i didnt go back and look, i only remember people saying things like "it just sucks" or vague things like that. and yes, im running stock phone. with my winmo phone i modded the shit out of it, then ended back with stock today 2 set up. with a couple tweaks to the registry. ive messed with root stuff on my dx, but havent had any urge to ROM it at all.

i do agree that it is wholly useless to add on an interface to something that already has one, as well as it slowing updates. i havent seen any bugs that i know of, thats one of the reasons i keep asking the same damn question. like i said, i need to play with one that is stock so i can see the differences. they arent readily noticeable to me apparently.

Nexus S vs. Atrix.

Filmed with iPod Touch 4G. Sorry, I only have 1 hand to try to scroll on both devices while holding my camera. It's hard to simulate. The problem with 30fps video is you can't see how smooth the Nexus S is. The Atrix clearly is performing sub 30fps and you can see it slower than the NS in scrolling through the homescreen.

Sorry I didn't have time to install Launcher Pro. This was a quick Fry's run I did today. But from experience at the AT&T store, installing Launcher Pro, turning the wallpaper into a static wallpaper did not save that Atrix from a lagfest.

I lost count of how many clean windows installs I did on OEM PC over last 10 years and each time I did, I "revived" those computers, gained performance and never lost functionality, unless you consider Tomb Raider significant enough to endure the lag and frustration.

While smartphones are different they are very much alike. Want proof? Take a look at platform without custom OEM UI's.

I have no doubt that today's UI skins are better than the ones from few years ago but they still have long ways to go.

In Android's case, it just makes more sense to start off fresh & clean and add stuff here and there rather than tolerate the disadvantages of UI skins.

Even HTC admitted that the problem for updating the Desire to Gingerbread was storage space, they have to reduce the footprint to "fit" GB & Sense on the Desire.

I think majority would agree that Blur is inferior to Sense.

Clean installs always trump UI skins in performance and almost always in functionality and that's easy to correct.

It would be nice if the manufacturers just made all their custom crap apps that could be uninstalled like the crapware PC vendors put on their computers. If Google wanted to they could force manufacturers to do this in future versions of Android and solve a lot of problems.

/facepalm

Stick out your thumb and pinky and move your hand, not your fingers. Even if you have hands the size of a small child, you can still very, very easily do it.

The Atrix clearly is performing sub 30fps and you can see it slower than the NS in scrolling through the homescreen.

Was that a demo Nexus S too? The app drawer was shockingly slow, a snail like blur fest. Also, in terms of responsiveness you can slow the video down and it clearly shows the Nexus S is responding considerably slower- go frame by frame and compare the position of your finger to when the screen starts to move. That much lag normal? Anyone can verify this, just go frame by frame and watch how far your finger moves before the screen responds, Atrix is about twice as fast. Can't tell the framerate apart unfortunately, bad lighting and weak vid camera, need at least 60FPS to get methodical on actual framerates.
