Blur for Xbox 360 and PS3, $10 at Best Buy (w/coupons)

Kabob

Lifer
Stolen from a bud at the AVS boards:

Game is on sale at Best Buy for $39.99

Reward Zone Coupon saves you $10

Manufacturer's Coupon saves you another $20

Final price = $10 + tax.

Most BB's are accepting both coupons, some you might have to argue with and a few might not take both. Also the sale price has been going on since Sunday so alot of stores are sold out (although in my city only 1 of the 5 or so BB's is sold out).

Good luck!!

Target has been price matching and taking the coupon, so the game ends up $20 there if BB gives anyone grief.

Awesome deal, I picked this up at my local BB over lunch yesterday.

Technically the Reward Zone coupon shouldn't work since sales items are not eligible (though obviously that shouldn't stop anyone). What I don't understand is if that's supposed to be the case then why does Best Buy insist on releasing RZ coupons for games the same day/week they go on sale?

And any store that doesn't accept the Manufacturer's coupon is just being a dick.

First, I believe being a member is free
Second, that's only for the $10 coupon... it's still on sale for $40 and the $20 coupon will still work which brings a normally $60 game down to $20.

But you probably have to be 18 to register an account I'm gathering..I can drive there but not register an account. :awe:

I also don't want to pay more than $10 for it.

EDIT: Wait, you only have to be 13?

Who knows, check their website as you can sign up on there.

I don't think they even verify your age in-store. I think they just ask if you want to sign up. They never check it, just say you're however old and you'll be fine.

I signed up online so I'm just going to bring the number in and see. Will report back...

Just walked in, got the game, went to counter and handed coupons, tried to tell me that I couldn't use both, said other BestBuy stores are taking them, and bam. $12.31 new PS3 game.

I had a similar experience but it didn't go as smoothly.

Had them hold a copy at Customer Service since they only had 4 copies of the game when I called this morning. Talked to a really nice girl on the phone and she told me there'd be no trouble using two coupons.

Ran to BB on my lunch break with my two coupons and went to CS. No girl working there, just an effeminate guy. I say they're holding a game for me and he goes and gets it. He scans it and I hand him the two coupons...

"I'm sorry, we can only accept one of those. Look right there, 'not for use with sale items or other offers'" or something of the sort. I explain that the girl I talked to said it was fine and he says it doesn't matter. I say other people I know have used both and he says he won't do it. Grumble grumble.

So I take the game and coupons to the cashier and ask her, she says "we're not supposed to scan both but I don't care" and rings me up. $12.63 out the door.

I got my copy for $20.

I pulled out both coupons, and the cashier immediately said that I can't use the RZ coupon on sale items. I didn't really care that much since:
A. I was in a hurry
B. $40 off of its retail price is still a hell of a deal.
C. The cashier was a .... well, not friendly.

So, I just took the $20 off and went.

I went to a Best Buy that just opened yesterday near here. They wouldn't take either coupon. They scanned them both and both showed "0.00" as a discount. I tried telling them that other stores were taking them but no dice. oh well.. the game isn't really worth 40 to me. $20 and i would have got it.

That's no good, both coupons have the expiration date on 'em, I'd have had them call someone with "more authority." Unless Best Buy has put out a statement saying they won't accept 'em anymore...

Well I tried this today, they said the coupons showed up as $0.00 so they must not be work since it's on sale for $39.99....I said umm it's a manufacturer coupon, they just give you $20 back when you send them coupon, they don't know or care how much it was when I bought it... 🙁 anyway I lost the fight and didn't buy it 🙁

I went to another Best Buy on Friday and had no issues picking up copy #2 (still haven't opened it). Maybe they killed the coupons? Anyone checked online?
