Bluetoothe headset for $39.95 ***No rebate***

Don't have a BT phone, but will this work for windows, i.e. can I use it in games? Says "Connect to most Bluetooth-enabled computer, PDA and Bluetooth mobile phones ?wirelessly!" Anyone know for sure? Hate my stand-mounted mic.

I have this same one, its actually produced by actiontec and i picked it up at CC for $29.99ar (they are hard to find now).

It can only act as a wireless speaker in windows, no other functions work. As for phones, it can do everything.
 
Any reviews on this? I was looking at the BlueTrek G2 for about $49.99 (9 hours talk time).

Also, anyone ever bought from this place performance-pcs.com?

This unit looks to only support BT 1.1. Not sure about laptops etc... but my Smartphone (ipaq 6315) has some issues with the 1.1 devices. A whole slew of 1.2 devices are being released in the next few weeks with some being in the $59 price range.
 
Thanks Aphex. Are there any wireless headsets (for BT or otherwise) out there that anyone would suggest getting (for gaming purposes). Off topic (sort of): I'm really looking for some wireless BT speakers. I'd like to mount them in my bathroom to listen to music on my comp while I'm in the shower. Might start another thread on this, just curious if anyone in the BT-know looking at this thread knew about something like this. Thanks
