Bluetooth remote

Are there any TVs that can be controlled with bluetooth remotes? I'm googling the hell out of it, but all I've found is some that have BT assisted 3d glasses and/or BT audio. The PS3 has been on the market for a few years now and only has BT control. I just can't believe it if no TV has at least a dual IR/BT control. But maybe I'm just bad at googling. So is there anything out there that can be controlled via BT?

Bluetooth support amongth AV equipment is pretty limitted. The PlayStation 3 has it because it uses Bluetooth to connect to its wireless controllers, so the remote is just another controller. There are apparently a few a TVs that support things like Bluetooth headphones and 3D glasses, but the only TVs that I can find sure that support Bluetooth control are high-end models made by Vizio.

I've got my eye on BT in particular because I hope to use a iPhone app as a universal remote of sorts. I know there's a jailbroken app, but I'm a little hazy on why there hasn't been an official app yet.

You might want to check for a TV with iPhone support instead. I don't know of any TVs like that offhand, but there are plenty of AV receivers that can be controlled using the iPhone over your home network.
