Yes, run that installer.

Thanks for the link mfenn,

I attempted to pair my laptop with my Creative D100 speaker prior to installing any driver, not even the Samsung stock driver. I only had the basic Win7 install driver, and as would be expected, nothing was found.

I then ran this installer, which ran with no issues, restarted, and then paired with no problems.
Now I could do this with the stock Samsung driver, but this time it seems that it wall automatically pair when ever I shut down and restart my laptop. I will have to try this over a period of days, of course, but it seems to be a much more stable environment.

Now, when I turned off the speaker, and turned it back on, my laptop put up a message that it was looking for a speaker but that nothing was found, and as I was walking over to the speaker, the green light turned blue, and VIOLA, it was connected.

I will post back how this continues to work, after a couple of days, but it seems much better than with the Samsung driver.

Thanks again, mfenn, for your patience and encouragement with this issue, and for finding that driver download for me.

OK, the way it is working is as follows:

(1) Once paired, if I leave the speaker powered on (GREEN indicator light), but shut down the computer for any length of time, upon computer restart, it will rediscover the speaker, automatically reconnect, and the indicator light will change to BLUE.

(2) If I shut downt both the computer and the speaker, then upon restarting both units, the computer does not automatically reconnect to the speaker, but I also don't have to repair them. All I have to do is go to "Device Manager", "Display Devices", and the speaker is there waiting for me to hit the connect button. It automatically reconnects, and the indicator light changes from GREEN to BLUE again.

(3) I have not tried just turning off the speaker, while leaving the computer logged on, but I think it would prabably follow the same pattern as described in (2) above.

(4) I made a new backup image of my C Partition with this driver installed and working, then did a full recovery from this new backup, (completely reimaging the C Partition) and VIOLA, upon restart the speaker was automatically rediscovered and reconnected. Again, just as in (1) above, the speaker was left on.

Comments: This is awesome, as I bought this particular laptop because of the onboard Bluetooth 4.0, which ended up actually being Bluetooth 3.0+HS, and have spent a lot of time and energy getting this working, and seem to have had complete success.

Thanks again

After several weeks, and several re-images of the C:partition on this system, I have to report that the Bluetooth connectivity is working perfectly now.

After installing the new driver that you pointed me to, I restarted, and hit the pair button on the speaker, after which it either paired automatically, or I simply had to select the device and tell it to connect. I just can't remember now. Either way, it was no issue at all.

1) Now, any time I turn off the laptop, leaving the speaker on, upon restart, it finds the speaker and automaticlly pairs again.

2) If I turn the speaker off, leaving the laptop running (like for instance, when I unplug the speaker and move it to another location) upon powering it back up again, I simply select the device and click "Connect".

3) If I turn off both, as long as I turn the speaker on before restarting the laptop, it finds the speaker and pairs automatically.

Thanks so much for hanging in there with me to get this figured out.

Hi! Sorry to bring up such an old thread again! I recently bought the Loewe 2go wireless speaker, which works on bluetooth. I paired it with my Acer, but it would just show as a bluetooth headset, and I cannot use it as a speaker. I hear that it might be related to the a2dp function of my computer. As such, I've checked up my Bluetooth chipset model and it's the Broadcom 2046 Bluetooth 2.1+EDR USB Device. Hardware ID:
USB\VID_0489&PID_E011&REV_0861
USB\VID_0489&PID_E011
Can anybody help me find drivers for this?
Thanks!:p

Hi!

Sorry to have to ask a similar question.

I have a generic bluetooth adapter and I'm hoping to download the correct set of drivers to see if I can get a bluetooth headset to pair with my computer and use A2DP. The Hardware IDs in the generic bluetooth adapter properties show the ff.:

USB\VID_1131&PID_1001&REV_0373
USB\VID_1131&PID_1001

Will you be able to help, MFenn? Thanks in advance! :)
