Bluetooth is the biggest goopy hardware/software combo out there..

it works one day, doesnt work the next.

First day it worked like a charm, pluged it in and it worked.. now i want to take some pics off the camera, and i cant seem to do a OBEX file transfer.. it sees my phone but it cant connect.. time for a reinstall of the drivers.

Worst yet Mobile phone tools sees it, but i cant do jack with it.

If you ever 'studied' bluetooth in college - you'd know it is the biggest crap ever designed.
I had a class on wireless networks - and I seriously thought bluetooth was totally useless.

I'm curious as to what brand your PC bluetooth interface is. I had an HP one and it was utter crap, but when replaced with a Belkin, everything works, EVERY TIME.

i'm having the same exact problem. tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers but the service for OBEX doesnt show up. the only thing i can think of is Service Pack 2 for windows xp. it's the only thing different since i reformated from my previous setup.

my thing keeps saying i dont have a licence for the software for this device.. its an actiontec BT device.. it worked the first day, but now it wont see it..

Earlier today before trying to reinstall, it was seeing it, but it wont file transfer, it was seeing my phone but it kept timing out with an error, plus when it first connected to the phone it actually broguht up OBEX push, OBEX filetransfer and two more options.. now there was only OBEX file transfer.

BT SUCKS ASS.
