yeah so im a little behind.

started using bluetooth to transfer data from my phone to laptop. i was gonna go buy a bluetooth adapter, but found out that my laptop had one installed already. so much better then using a usb cable!
 
It might just be my adapter, but I have trouble getting BT to work with my phone from time to time. And I only use it for file transfer.

I had heard about it many times, but never thought much about it. just got a new cell phone and it comes with bluetooth and thought i'd try it out and it's really cool. dont need a cable anymore. been transfering pics and mp3. now i'm trying to figure out how i can set it for dial-in so that i can go online from my laptop in most places.
 
Those wireless head sets are amazing. I can't wait for the Nextel i870 which is coming out November 1st. That thing is bluetooth straight out of the box, FTW!

I was excited when I first got my razr and I thought I would be transfering pics to my laptop all day long. I havent it once yet, and I've had my phone for two months now.

Kind of the same situation with my used Clie I bought a month ago. I barely use it.

you don't transfer any files?
 
sadly thats the only thing i've everused this new fangled blue tooth i've had since the start for...cellphone data transfer. rather dissapointing tech. most of the time the little usb dongle sits there unused.
 
bluetooth is swt. i use it between my laptop pocketpc and phone. transfering things is so much easier than using cables
 
it's great when it works. I hate some of the flaky USB adapters and driver problems. And nokia's software packages suck! Not sure if you have a nokia, but there's a program called Oxygen Phone Manager 2 that's great for bluetoothing your data back.
