Threads still applies their algorithm to force feed you the posts they want you to see, rather rather than just letting you choose who to follow and only seeing those posts.

Also, Threads continues to actively and heavily suppress any posts related to current news and politics. And they are doing a far better job of suppressing news and politics then they are at blocking racist and hate speech.

Threads has several hundred million users. It is by no means "dead".

Threads is definitely not dead. I quit that the day after the election because the issue a lot of old school Twitter users are having is that there is no simple 'following' feed.

Aka one where you just see the posts of people you are following.

Threads only has a view where random posts from others come in. And often it's to drive you crazy engagement to bait and just nonsense and that's the stuff that aggravates you. And people just don't want to see other nonsense. They just wanted to experience their self-curated feed. And then if they want to there's a discovery feed or something like that where you can see other posts suggested by the algorithm.

And also really, fuck Mark Zuckerberg.

I don't mind threads i mostly go on instagram and threads is linked to it but i really don't use it or engage in any of these twitter like apps. my threads feeds if it's not my real life friends i follow is mostly "hot chicks" posting their OF.... I don't know if that's like the default algorithm talking
