There was some small blackouts in my area a few days ago, my computer was running at the time and it turned off. Now everytime I attempt to turn the pc on it will bluescreen at a random point and keeps doing it untill I stop it. If i force the startup repair by inserting the W7 Installation disk it boots up normaly. Yesterday I had a bluescreen mid day. Could all the BSODS be because of the blackout?

Is it normal for the PC to run normaly APART from the startup issues and 1 random BSOD

I recently had a PC in which I would get failure to load windows and have to do start up repair and then it would work. This worked for a while and then eventually would not work. I eventually had to replace the hard drive. How old is your computer and is it the original hard drive?

I must have bad luck with HDD, because none of mine have seemed to last more than a couple of years. So could be your hard drive is going or PS or other components as others suggested.

You could try booting from a Linux CD and see if that eliminates any problems. If it does, that would be an indication of a failing hard drive.

Normal? No. Unheard of? Also no. It can be something as simple as a cracked solder joint that makes a bad connection when the PC is cold but works fine when it heats up and both halves of the joint expand.
