Don't like Petty? I was never a huge fan, but I saw him back in 86 with Dylan and the Dead, and was quite impressed with his live performance. He was also one of Dylan's best backup bands ever.

He's got the most annoying voice out of all the Willburys, IMHO.

maybe, but MILES behind Dylan's only real backup band, The Band. 😉

I'm sure Petty was and is great live, and I'd likely dig the show, but I just think he's incredibly annoying. /shrug.

Though I would have loved to see some of the the Dylan/Dead shows. Absolutely fantastic tour. (I wonder if Petty's presence would have spoiled it for me? probably not...)
