Sprouts Farmers Market (yes, it's really called that) has 18oz blueberries for $1.98. From Oregon, and they're not bad. I've been chowing on them all day. First in plain yogurt with a little honey, then out of hand. Most berries are stupid expensive most of the year, although blackberries go on sale fairly regularly, so I have those more than any others.

Helps you to get a woodie

It's true, blueberries are freaking amazing. Wild blueberries even more so, and not those bush varieties that are big and almost no flavor. I'm talking Maine blueberries, the little guys on the low shrubs that are a pain to harvest. Want to cut down on all kinds of illnesses and live a long time? Start loading your diet with blueberries, also beets.

If maximum antioxidant density is your bag, start ingesting chaga (another great gift from the Maine woods!) I've heard from a number of old timers that chaga actually improved their vision.

Today the wife and myself bought 20lbs.
We washed them at home and put them in small bags.
We went to where the homeless people are and passed them out.:p:p:p

They were probably actually originating from California. They just got bland by the time they came here and back. If you actually come to Canada, and pick them yourself in the woods or buy from a random person selling them on the side of the street they are better than any of the store bought ones. They're not as great this year though, been too hot and not enough rain.

Wound up throwing them out. I didn’t even bother throwing them at the birds in the park. They were that bad.
