keep getting this blue screen(a fatal exceptiom OE has occurred at 0028:c001409B

in vxd vmm(01) + 0001309B

running win98SE,changed ram to crucial 133 256m

changed video card and power supply

asus p3b-f mobo 400 celleron on msi slocket

any help appreciated.....Slyedog

Update EVERY driver to its latest you can find... if that doesn't help, try formatting...

And make sure you check the Microsoft site too search for that error

Exception 0E almost always means that Windows is looking for something and can't find it, but doesn't know what it's missed. Got me? If you've been swapping hardware out, then it might be looking for the old harware that you had.

Be sure all your old stuff is completely uninstalled, along with your new stuff being completely installed.

Did your mobo come with new chipset drivers? I would think that's the most likely culprit.

Then again it's hard to say. I once got a chronic bsod because I had TweakUI check the CD-ROM drive for a disk. Well, every time I changed the disk between shutdown and startup it would bsod on me at startup.
