Situation:
Currently having issues in which I was using Google Chrome, VLC Media Player, and AIM and all of a sudden a Blue Screen comes up and it said "Unknown Hard Error". I shut it down, and as it tried to boot up, it had trouble, but it made it back to Windows but Google Chrome stopped working. I google searched for this using Mozilla Firefox, and someone said they had the same exact problem (watching video, blue screen unknown hard error, google chrome stopped working) and they said the code was "STOP: c0000b2e". I do not know for sure if that is mine...but it seems strangely similar. The only things that have changed lately for me are...
1. Speaker setup. They are old, they may not be magnetically shielded, but they're also at LEAST a foot away from my PC.
2. Downloaded a TV show episode and watched it via VLC Media Player. My friend was watching it and had no issues.
3. Google chrome was updated to the newest version.
I googled everywhere, and checked all culprits. The CPU is overclocked, but I did an extremely long stress test on it to make sure it was stable, and it is stable. The memory was checked and tested before I got this desktop by a member here. Hardware Monitor shows that all things have always been within proper temperatures. HDTune statistics show that there is NOTHING wrong with this hard drive, and it is very new so it is unlikely there are errors with it. I ran a Malwarebytes Anti Malware scan and no malware was detected. I run CCleaner routinely to keep everything clean, and only the default settings so it doesn't delete too much. The error also has not come up since I have uninstalled Google Chrome, but the thing is, I have only had the "updated" google chrome for a day or two, because it is a VERY recent update. I don't really know if I can cause the same conditions to cause this error to happen again. I really hope it's not an issue with the windows image install, because the user before me installed it but I highly doubt anything went wrong with it. All the drivers are up to date as well, and all Windows updates are downloaded.
Any ideas guys?
