hi,
Some months ago I got some hardware for my server.
Asus M2n-e
AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2500 MHz (12.5 x 200) 4800+
some OCZ 2x2 GB ram modules (OCZ XTC SLI OCZ2N800SR2G)
LC Power Metatron ARKANGEL LC8850 V2.2

I did not do my homework properly this time, and discovered a lot of posts about this motherboard. It can only provide 1.95 V on the ram. This ram must have 2.0+
Well I tried it anyway, and made it run all it could. 1.95V.
I did a memtest for a long time, and no errors. So I installed windows, and used it as a file server with no problems for about a month.

Today the machine bugs me. It reboots at random. After some time it just reboots. Mostly If it does some heavy work. (Like unzipping a lot of stuff ? moving files)

The blue Screen I receive on reboot says PFN_LIST_CORRUPT.
The common problem to this is memory problem. But how can there suddenly be a problem?
Anyway I fired up memtest again, and right, damn a lot of errors 40505+++.

What do you think? Is my memory damaged, or is it just because it does not get all the voltage needed?
I have ordered some cheap Kingston value ram now. This only needs 1.8v. I hope this will do the trick.
You have any other suggestions for me, to try?

I read that PFN_LIST_CORRUPT, also could be cpu overheating. In bios I read my athlon 4800+ to be around 50C.
I'm really confused, becourse mostly it can run for days, without any problems, and other times it almost makes an instant reboot after startup.

Hmm, it behaves a bit different now.
Now it just locks up in windows. Nothing responses.

I powered it down, and tried turning it on again. Tried to remote destop it. But no connection.
The operation system was not loaded.

I have no monitor connected currently, as I mostly just remote to it. (so unable to see if bios wrote any errors on boot)

Well powered it down again, and power on. Looked at the leds. Nope, it did not work on the disk.(load windows)

Power down ? wait 10 mins.
Power on ? yes now it is working.

Entering windows. Remote to it. Runing Everest and read cpu temp. 45 C.
I just leave it there. 5 mins later it has frozen again.
