blue screen of death

Good day

what do you guys think about this.

Could blue screen of death be caused by installing a software lets say a game? I always thought that it happens if the

a. there is conflict in hardware installed
b. viruses
c. or some hardware failing
d. over heating

do you guys know or have experience of any other causes for this to happen

f. poorly written software (games included)
g. you get the picture

There's so many things that can cause a BSOD...

First thing to do is google the code it gives (usually 0x0...) and see what people say about the error. That can help you track down what happened.
