i can't make it through 3dmark03 without getting the blue screen of death. it usually freezes on cpu test 2. so is it the cpu thats the problem or my video card, or a combo.

Did you try installing latest vid card drivers? Latest mobo drivers? DX9? I don't know, try drivers first...
 
ya and i've tried like, 4 different vid drivers and used driver cleaner between changes. and i still get the same problem. i do however think it could be a driver issue causing an infinate loop problem.
