yes they are. I like how the blue is like a deep electric blue tone. Makes my computer look nuclear powered or something. :)

I didn't even bother to plug the LEDs on my mobo in. You could say that I do not regard LED lights as cool ;)

Did y'all use the 5V ones? I used one of those on my fanbus, and man is that thing bright. If you look at it straight on (which is hard to do since my tower is on the floor), it's blinding! :)

You can thank Cree Semiconductors for those blue LED's. Original developed to make Giant TV screens with red , yellow and blue LED's as the "pixels" to make the picture.

Blue leds are cool. I wish that I had waited for the Logitech mouse with the blue leds before upgrading. I went with the "common variety" red one.

Blue rock, as well as the "white" light LEDs. A bunch of them together use almost no power but give off a TON of light. Pretty economical, they are using them in ISS.

Demon Xanth: I know that. I used a 5v, 30mA Blue LED. This requires a (12-5)/.03 = 233
& change Ohm resistor. The closest the Shack had was a 220 Ohm. Not enough of a difference to do this? :)

I'm just wondering why my LED is so damn bright! :)

So do you just run these leds off the original leds power leads, or do you have to mess with the molex connectors?
