Please help me out.
I got in on the Newegg WD 'My Passport Elite' 500GB External HDD
deal, but when I connect the HDD to my computer via usb (either
via the dock or directly from the HDD), my computer stops
operating and shows the dreaded blue screen:
Bad_Pool_Header
But then, when I power off and re-power up while it is connected,
it works like a charm. It is only when I initially connect it that it
gives me this problem.
I recently bought a WD Elements External HDD and have absolutely
no problems. I also have another WD Elements External HDD that I
purchased from a fellow anandtech member, and that works
flawlessly as well.
Why is only the Passport HDD giving me this problem??
