Make sure the windows xp built in firewall is off too if you have that.

umm thats strange. im behing my colleges firewall and it connects for me

and i get speeds of up to 2megs a sec off it

Are you using a Cable/DSL router? If so enable the proper ports to passthrough to your computer.

Are you sharing any files? My friend was having problems until he added a directory of files for sharing.

blubster doesn't seem to ever work for me. although i am behind a NAT ,whether i forward ports of go in DMZ it don't work
