Well if you don't like that idea you could always spy on the neighbors appropriately aged daughter/sister/wife. Very bandwidth friendly - until ATOT demands pics of appropriately aged daughter/sister/wife.

I can't think of any son/brother/husband in the area that is even remotely attractive (refer to rural area). Waiting for a 250mb divx video to download over dialup would probably prove faster than even locating, much less spying on, any individual meeting the appropriate characteristics.

and my old collection got wiped out from my last HD crash

Same here regarding Pirates, all standard definition. Pirates 2 on the other hand has a few 720p copies floating around.

VC1 between 15-25Mbps

But as always the law of dimenishing returns. I rented a BR of a film and I recorded the HD from Sky (satellite for the UK) and I have no clue what the bit rates were, but the BR was probably at least 2-3x as high and the quality was 'slightly' better and you had to sit closer but it was sweet either way. The benefit is that Sky only offer DD and no HD sound formats...wheres I was enjoying the HD sound format 🙂
