Ugh, I'm so mad right now. :|

My Logitech Z-560's are making a really nasty popping noise, and after a bit of listening the whole subwoofer stops working. The speakers are 16 days old, and I've NEVER taken the volume past half-way. They started making the nasty popping noise when i was listening to a song that didn't have much bass at all, and the volume was only 1\4 of the way up. Did I blow them? What do I do? Contact Logitech? I'm not that good with speakers, but there is a fuse on the subwoofer, maybe I blew that? TIA.

Have you ever unplugged them while they were on? And plugged them back in? It creates a nasty pop and ruined many a speaker that I know of...

Do you have another system to test them on? Maybe it's some software conflcit (after my brother installed some audio software, there were pops all over the place). When all else fails, contact Logitech.

StinkyMeat: No, I don't think I've ever done that.

kuk: Ya I do have another system to test it on, I didn't install any software or anything, it just started happening out of the blue. I'll go test them on the other system now.

Ok, I just tested them on my other system.

They still make the nasty static sounding pop noise. Ugh. Should I just contact Logitech?

I Think I Would try Returning them for an exchange 1st.... Everyplace has to have atleast a 14 day return policy & Alot of places have more, or will bend that 14 day thing if need be
