Looks like a remaster to make it work better on modern systems:

Support for higher display resolutions (up to 4K / 3840x2160).
Upscaled cinematic videos
Support for modern gamepads (XInput)
Improved rendering with up to 4x anti-aliasing
Improved lighting with higher resolution light maps
Support for higher texture resolutions, allowing for use of uncompressed original textures
Improvements to visual effects and reflections

I never played these games back in the day so I'm curiously interested.

God, the only thing I remember about this is that god awful publicity stunt of having the main character do "nudes" in porno mags.

Just thinking about it results in nausea inducing cringe.
