Blog with mySQL backend?

anythign like this? I'm REALLY new to the blog thing, and never really enjoyed them until my wife suggested it as a "diary" on our kids day-to-day adventures...

I've installed wordpress for some people here at work. Very easy to get going, but I've not used the blog features much.

There are probably a ton of other ones available. You might try searching sourceforge.net.
