I am actually pretty good at what I do, but if I wasn't doing this, I would be doing mechanical or aerospace engineering, not politics.

I agree, I find the forums overall much more pleasant with P&N blocked. I forget it even exists, along with all the poisonous hate in there.

I may come back when it's political season close to the election. Right now it's kinda like beating a dead horse. Thinking about politics all year is becoming tiring instead of interesting for me. The threads read exactly the same, just change the issue and candidate name depending on the poster and what's in the news. I can read a headline on a newspaper and know exactly who on ATPN is going to say what about it and how they are going to spin it, including myself. So there isn't much point in posting or reading the forum.

Well, It's been 1 week, so far so good. Once I removed the bookmarks to political and news websites and forums, and news talk radio on the speed dial, it's out of sight out of mind.
Also, I am moving to a new apartment, and I haven't ordered cable TV, just the cable modem, so it'll be even less of politics and news for me this summer.
