Cockbuster now has unlimited in-store rentals. Only one out at a time, but this, and their new late fee crap shows how desperate they are.

Funny you say that. A friend of mine and I split the cost of an unlimited 30-day video game rental and, let's just say, we were well known at that store...

I think they've had that deal for a while now...I used to go in 2-3x per day

Deal has been around for awhile.

My old man rented over 100 in a month and they never said anything. Actually, they prefer it if you bring them back quickly so they have items on the shelves. He obviously wasn't going to rent 100 movies, so at least they got some money out of his pocket.

There is something very wrong with this sentence.

i tried, but i just don't have the need to see that many movies. Toward the end of my 1month free trial, I was struggling to find DVDs that I really wanted to see. I had a single remaining coupon for in-store rental and I used it on the last day on a movie I didnt' even care about. Needless to say, I didn't go forward with the renewal.

i think it used to be 20/month but its 15/month now, same as their online rental subscription.

Im not complaining about their 3 for $15 online plan, pretty fast service for the past month. That one out at a time in store is gay though, too much running back and forth just for one game /movie.

I've got the movie pass deal. I like it except for the fact that new movies (at least the good ones) are ALWAYS unavailable for up to 2 weeks after they come out.

P.S. Oh yeah and they do catch on to the movie burning scheme after a while. There's nothing they can do about it, and I go in there so often that they no longer ask me for my card. They just sigh and say "Enjoy your movie...cheap-skate".
