Not sure if this is all stores but I saw a commercial on TV last night. Buy $50 in Gift Certificates and get $5 free for yourself. Not a great deal, but you can stock up on store credit and get $5 free.
Also, in case you haven't heard, Blockbuster is eliminated late fees next year. Rentals will be 7-10 days long. If you don't return it by then, you get charged for the item (minus rental fee) and it's yours. At that point, you have 30 days to return it for your money back minus re-stocking fee.
