This is good until April 8th, I believe.

If you but two Previously Viewed VHS, DVDs, or games, then you get the third of equal or lesser value free. It started today, and I'm surprised nobody posted it already. They just started putting out new PVD this week, too.

As for video games, I picked up GTA3, FFX, and Maximo for under 65 incl. tax. Go get 'em!

Of the new movies, they have the Musketeer, and the person at the register said he can give me a listing each week. I'll go back in Sunday afternoon when they stock them over here and get the names of all the good titles.

My BB always has pretty recent PS2 games on sale for $29.99. At that price, it'll be $60 for 3 games. Last nite I saw FFX, Jax and Daxter, Crash Bandicoot, and a bunch of other new ones I wanted. Great deal. Thanks!

sure it's a hot deal if you don't mind the ugly blockbuster sticker everywhere on your game or dvd.

Side note, no matter how they price the games, it is always a rip off, you know that it costs less than a dollar to produce
the dvd games.

BTW grand theft auto is the only great game so far, FFX is a huge disappointment (spend 200+ hours on it, why? coz I spend 50),
metal gear sucks, maximo is too hard with all the jumping (don't even waste your time)..... etc

This is a great deal. Three DVD's for about $25 is awesome! These are usually the leftovers from the 50+ copies of new releases they buy, and usually are in mint condition.

I don't mind these stickers that much. If you're careful, you can easily peel them off. Even though the label says "removal will cause damage to disc", I've never had an issue with this.

Yes, it costs less than $1 to produce a physical copy, Movies and games cost millions to develop, shoot, etc. It's the same with DVD, CD, and even VHS and ancient cassete tapes.

Looks like I'm heading down to Blockbuster tonight. :)

Sorry, but that should win an award for "Stupidest Statement Ever". Yes, pressing CD's or DVD's cost very little, but how the heck do you think they get the content to create put on these discs? You may not believe this, but there are people that work very hard day and night for years just to create a movie or video game, and THAT is what you are paying for. Why the heck do you think they have all those names listed at the end of the movie?

The simplicity of pirating is making people so naive...

Very true emonkey. And for every movie like ET that makes a zillion dollars, there are stinkers like Artificial Intelligence that lose money.

And a little trivia for ya, do you know why CDs still cost $15 when the productions costs have dropped to near nil? It's because people are still willing to pay $15 for them. Econ 101 folks, the law of supply and demand. The demand is still high.

Picked up Metal Gear Solid 2, Devil May Cry, NBA2K2, Final Fantasy X, State of Emergency, and Maximo yesterday. All in great condition and all came with instructions. :)

Anyone out there know of a good (safe & easy) way to remove the stickers from the game discs?

I've got an extra copy of Devil May Cry (with instructions)...PM me if interested.

That's why the "loss" caused by mp3's is overrated. Cassettes cost more to make but are 1/2 price of cd's.

If they'd lower the msrp of cd's to 9.99, I'd know I'd be buying a lot more...........

I have often tried to remove the stickers just to see if it was possible w/o damage. As MisterPresident said, if you are very careful and peel very slowly, it will come off w/o any mark or residue. It takes a bit of patience and time, I guess.
