No. I hope you didnt' sign up yet. It's 2 total per month for in-store. You'll get 2 coupons in email that you print out and can use anytime during the month.
The unlimited part is the mailings ones.

If you ordered last month and cancelled, (or any ex-member), then you can get another free month (after you login you'll see it):

They have a warehouse 1.5 hours from here, 1 day turnaround! Since I use it for mostly non-new releases, I might actually stay on!

it's getting a little slower for some movies for me now. About 4 day turnaround instead of 2-3. Still not bad.

how does this compare to Netflix?

I started with Netflix and switched to Blockbuster. I just switched back. With 155 movies in my queue (everything from new releases to older movies), Blockbuster usually only has about 10 available. It's not acceptable and just doesn't make sense from such a large organization. Netflix would usually have 150 of those available. The end result is I never know what movie will arrive next from Blockbuster.

The shipping times were the same for both...2-3 day turnaround. Blockbuster did lose 2 of my returns over the past 5 months on separate occasions. They eventually showed up a month later...don't know what happened there.

Blockbuster could be killer in this area but they need so much work with their inventory.
Ain't that the truth! With about 95 films in my queue, and only about 10 available for shipping, I can't help but wonder who handles their inventory control.

I agree, Blockbuster sucks. They take forever to send anything nowadays, even though I have 200 in my queue. They send disks that have huge cracks in them, or are totally filthy. One DVD has been sent out three times and I never received it. They gave me a free month, then I'm going to cancel. Their service sucks and is not worth the hassle.

I did the 2-week free plan plus $10.00 Fat Wallet cash rebate and then switched to the 8 movies at a time plan. The first month, I received a decent selection of my 200+ movies in queue. By the second month, the first 100 movies in my queue were listed as not available - and some with long waits. I had a mix of old movies and new in my top 100 queue.

Coming to the end of my second month, I'm receiving movies from the bottom of my 200-queue list - meaning my top 150+ choices are not available. I can't work with that. I cancelled online two days ago, and the only offer Blockbuster gave me was for the 5 at a time or 3 at a time rental plan - at their regular rates. Laughable at best.

I guess Blockbuster grew too fast and I'll probably give them a try later when they improve their movie availability. As much as I detest NetFlix (based on past experiences), I'll do their minimum rental plan of 3 movies at a time - since their availability is much better than Blockbuster's at this time.

I was with Walmart and signed up for this Blockbuster promo on 5-21. I rented 39 movies since joining. I checked my account the other day to see if they charged my credit card since my 2 months free was up. For some reason, they have have my next billing date as 9-21 and they gave me another coupon for a 2nd free DVD :.)

you don't even have to wait for them to email you about it, once you sign up you can login and go into your account and get to the coupons. i even used one a day before it said it was valid and it worked fine.

Me, too! I've been paying for 2-out at a time at my local BlockBusters, and I've been paying $24.99+tax per month. No more. I need some help here. Thanks.

If you click on the "deal" site in the signature in the post above yours. Look on the left side and you'll see the box advertising it.

just wait till you find out you have to send at least two back that don't work every month. be sure to clean them, they're filthy

you'll get about 12-14 a month and 2 at the store. rent at the store is over $4 each.

Mine have never been too bad except for one that had some sort of liquid internal to the disc. Weird.

If you?re into knowing the real story based on experience, check my rather lengthy review at Epinions.

It is a frustrating experience waiting for the discs when you *know* for a fact they are lying to you by introducing delays that limit your maximum number of rentals, even though it is billed as an "unlimited" plan.
