No time restrictions for how long you keep them, and you can have two out at a time. Month starts on the day you start the deal (so full 4 weeks). Good on DVDs and all new releases as well.

Beware that unless you cancel during that month, it WILL auto-renew the evening of the last day of your sign-up. Whatever store you sign up at is the only Blockbuster this deal is good for, so pick a good store if you have several in the area!!!

They also have a similar deal on games for $19.99 + tax.

actually the first months is 14.99 which makes it better. atleast for my blockbuster. Just cheat and cancel it, then wait few days after 1st month is over and sign up again. assuming the promotion is still going.

I'm not sure its still being offered by I'm on the 3 out at a time for 29.99. Much better value. Its probably higher now. dunno though. Its not advertised as much as the 24.99 for 2 plan.

The games is a good deal since it's 6 bucks a shot.

Are you sure it was two? I'll check BB site maybe it's on there.

games are only 1 out a time. When they first started the game pass it was 2 games out a time. But the shelves were so empty that they changed to 1.

I've complained like crazy that my blockbuster needs to carry more than 1 copy of some games.

About time they rolled this out nationally. I've been waiting forever. Goodbye Netflix.... Now if only Blockbuster had porn...

I kinda wish hollywood vidoe would jump on this bandwagon as our good blockbuster closed down to make way for some blockbuster trading company movie sales store, so now we have to go farther to a small, rundown blockbuster. This is sad because Hollywood video is only a block away from our house.

I worked for Blockbuster when this promotion first came out, it was never two games at a time. Only if you paied a higher monthly fee would you be able to take two games at once. Movies goes the same, one, two and three.

How is Blockbuster about getting new game releases? I want a game that comes out Monday, anyone guess when they'll have it?

And how long have you worked at blockbuster?

The program started regionally back in 2002 when it ran only during the summer and you're able to take 2 out at a time. In summer of 2003 it was back again but is at the current 1 out at a time. From there on out my blockbuster kept the program for good.

I've been on this program for about a month...I like the selection (although doesn't compare with Netflix) and the ease of getting new movies

Blockbuster is flaky. Some stores get it the day it goes on sale. Actually it could be more like titles. I know Spiderman 2 was avaliable the same day it went sale. Other games its Friday of that week or the following week.

I'ver heard some stores get everything same day its goes on sale but I've checked all 4 blockbusters within my area and only a few titles major ones or atleast heavy promoted titles are avaliable same day.

go to blockbuster.com and go to games and click "coming soon" it'll give you approximate date stores would have it.

This is an awesome deal for people with DVD writers and modded consoles =) But if you're going for DVD's I think netflix is a better way to go. $23/month and 3 at a time. Only downside is having to wait a day or two for the dvd(s)

It would be great if they let you mix and match games. IEven if it was only 1 game out a time while 2 movies out at a time. That way if they didn't have any movies you wanted to see in stock then you could get a game, and vice versa. Now you have to pay $45 to have this option.

thats what i do. but i like blockbuster more, because sometimes i have rented 2 sets of movies twice in a day. no wait at all.

right now its 14.99 for 2 and 19.99 for 3 at most blockbusters.

It's $3 to rent a movie for 7 days at BB (sometimes 2-3 days on new releases). For this to pay off, you'd have to rent over 8 movies a month. Since you can only rent 2 at a time, that's 4 trips to the video store a month. Do people rent that many movies? I hardly have time to watch the 2 I rented for the week!

Like it was said, the games being $6 a pop are a better deal, but to get your money's worth you'd have to rent over 3 a month (@ 1 per visit). You'll have to return your games every week and a half or so to keep the flow going. The logistics of this don't seem to work out in my eyes.

How many people like to drive to return rental movies? It is teh suck.
Plan ahead, use Netflix.
Blockbuster sucks--always did, always will.

There is a good deal also at $29.99, 7 rentals free + Passions of Christ on DVD pre-buy. You net money not even counting the free dvd that is sure to be hot.

I go twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. It's great being an unemployed college grad (work doesn't start until Aug).

I know most of the guys who work there now:)
