blockbuster - 2 movies at a time 15$ a month for first month

blockbuster has a netflix like take off in the stores. for the first month it is $15, afterwards it is $25 a month for unlimited rentals, 2 at a time.

This is an excellent deal. I'm actually using it right now, as I rent at least 4 DVDs a month easy. Only takes like 4 rentals to come out ahead.

You'll also get 10 bucks off the normal 29.99 making it 19.99

works about to be a bit cheaper than have only 2 out.

Be sure to cancel after first month if you don't want this plan because they don't tell you that your credit card gets billed automactically! Some of the Blockbuster clerks failed to mention this to me.

After a little while the entire Blockbuster selection of movies doesn't appeal to me. But, it beats the late charges and everyday prices under this plan.

I tried out the free 1st month trial when it was posted at techbargains.com about a week ago. The deal gets me 3 videos out at once and 2 free dvd stroe rental for $14.95 + tax. So far, I am not very thrilled about the service. It copied directly from Netflix, but only worse. Their shippment isn't as fast (I live in LA), the selection is weak, description of the movie isn't informative, and every new movie has a long wait. For a week, I only received 6 movies (I watch these movies the same day and return the next morning; 2 turn arounds/week). I can easily get 3 turn around at Netflix. But I do like their free 2 dvd voucher in their store though.

I think firerock is confusing Blockbuster's new mail service with the B&M service.

DVDs by mail is $19.99/month for 3-out
B&M is $29.99/3-out or $24.99/2-out with $10 off for the first month

Yea, let us know if you are able to get the $15 dollar deal at another local blockbuster store. Not sure if the computers are linked to see if you are a first time member or not.

You can easily do this. there isn't even a need to go to a different store.

cancel wait a few days and start again.

I do it when they have the game pass promotion for 1st month at 14.99

after one month I'd cancel sit out a few days/week or month depending on what coming out. and if they still have it sign up again.

they don't care unless you get anal employee.

also Promotion only notes 1st month only at 14.99 never says anything about limiting to how many times you could use the promotion.
