Good god, 2 hours to download the lastest ATI drivers on dialup. That's just sad. I remember back in the day the sub 4meg NVIDIA drivers. What the hell do they put in their drivers now.

And I know, get broadband. Well, I can't. So that's why I'm here to bitch.

Worse more, I've installed the catalyst drivers, and resident they take up over 60meg of RAM. 20+ for some ATI thing and 40meg+ for the catalyst control panel. Good god!

60 MB RAM?!!! all my ati services are around 12mb when ati ccc is closed. i have a dial-up, but i do my big downloads at work or while I sleep (4 hour limit). i think its all the useless presentation features that contribute to the huge size.
