Of course this was intentional. This shit got worse with O and his "he could have been my son" and it's just going to get worse.

There should be a special award, just like Godwin, when someone invokes Obama. So much for personal responsibility eh. Yep, it's Obama's fault. DERP.

Looks like he is carrying AR15.

Seems like the next logical step.

Sure, if you've got an IQ of 10 or so. Shooting random people (cops in this case), who had nothing at all to do with, and were 1000's of miles away from a completely separate issue, is not going to help advance anything.

This event pretty much guarantees that Philando Castile will be immediately forgotten, and will re-enforce the idea among many that police are justified in shooting armed (or unarmed) black people.

Not too smart.

I don't imagine many are surprised by this? Seems like the next logical step.

There is only so much crap, real or perceived, that people will take before they begin to fight back in whatever way they feel best.

The problem with shooting back, is it will do nothing but further militarize the police, and further put them into a mentality that all civilians are the enemy.

Although all the gun nuts should be busting a nut over this, since they claim the 2nd amendment is to fight back against a tyrannical government. Looks like some people take that talking point too seriously.

I think cops shoot way too many people, and those responsible should be severely punished. But killing police officers that have nothing to do with the incidents in question, is completely senseless, counterproductive and in no way provides justice.

This is exactly the opposite of what the protesters wanted.

The Regressive Left and identity politics. This one is solidly on Obama, Cummings, and Gov Dayton.

I am an equal opportunity hater. Gov Dayton has these cop's blood on his hands too. Rather than letting the investigations go, he decided to jump in like an asshole.

So you are all for waiting on investigations when innocent civilians are killed, but if a cop gets shot, you know right away who to blame, before we even know who the shooters are...

The key is "real or perceived". They are protesting two recent shootings where nobody knows the exact details. The court of public opinion has ruled and therefore they march and some assholes decided to escalate based on that initial bias.

So much fucking wrong with this.

11 officers shot by 2 sniper shots?

how?

Since when do snipers only fire once apiece?

I think many of us could see something like this coming with the increasing acceptance and encouragement of rushing to judgement and rioting and violence, particularly with police involved shootings. And the continued use of such shootings by the usual opportunistic hustlers.

Yeah, I don't think there is much positive to say about it other than maybe it shines a brighter light on the issue.

But for anyone that's been paying attention over the last few years to the social media reaction to the media hype of actual events something like this was inevitable.

This is sad. It finally reached the boiling point.

Neither concealed carry or open carry works.

I really don't know how carrying any gun in the street can make America great.
