"Sitting?" No. Doing everything Alton did with the same background? Absolutely yes. Get real. Even without the criminal record, go re-enact it and have your friends call in an "anonymous" complaint about you threatening them with a gun. Fight with the cops even after they tackle you and know you have a gun and see how that goes for you.

Why on Earth do you think they wouldn't shoot you? You've got to be BONKERS to think they wouldn't.

Well maybe decades of evidence showing how the police react to non-white people. Or all the other times this has happened recently. Ask Tamir Rice or John Crawford about that.

I'll take that one...

Here is a Navy officer pointing a gun on some teens who aren't even on his property. He was initially arrested but let go. Now a video comes out and the police have to do a backpedal. He actually is proven threatening someone with a gun and so far nothing

Oh. My. God.

Are you even following this conversation? What parallels are you trying to draw here? Was his firearm illegal? Did they even call the cops at the time? Did the man fight with the cops or refuse to comply with them?

You really have to be bonkers to think this has any relevance what-so-ever.

You seriously believe that? Then do it. Get a gun and do it. Obviously, I'm assuming you're white. I'm also assuming you're not a total idiot who actually will do it.

OK, your recently resurrected account and shtick is getting old already... we get it. Another underwhelming troll to add to the plonk list. See ya in reruns...

What are you talking about? My account has been in good standing for a long time now.

Well since I'm white the first the cops won't do is be instantly aggressive and taze me for no good reason. Are you able to follow along here?

As far as I am aware, details of the run up between the police at the start of the incident with the suspect, and when we first start seeing videos of what happened, have NOT surfaced yet.

Hopefully later, details will come out.

Potentially the police handled the situation correctly, BUT that may NOT be the case.

I don't think we (publicly) know yet, what happened BEFORE the publicly available videos start.

Here is an important hint: The cops will not be honest.

Apparently there were video surveillance cameras (which the police have collected the tapes from), many witnesses (I think, there seem to be many people milling about) and probably other information sources and videos (ones NOT posted on the internet etc).

Also the police had helmet (not SURE of location) cameras which fell off ?, and maybe the patrol vehicle had a camera(s).

Delusion. Fantasy.

Having a weapon and refusing to get on the ground when ordered after having the police called on you for threatening someone with a gun will get you tazed.

Because that suits your delusional fantasy. "There's simply no way they could be justified!"

well from that video, to me, it does look like he is moving his right arm in a manner as if he's reaching into his pocket. still can't make it out completely though obviously due to the angle.

Never let facts get in the way of a good rant and riot.

Always glad to see all the racists and trolls out in full force. Once again showing the cesspool that these forums have become.

Can y'all trash talk the dead mans family some more?

His past history isn't really relevant to whether use of force was justified this time or not.

I'm not sure why anyone thinks resisting arrest is a safe activity.

When I get stopped for traffic stuff, I don't flinch without permission. These are typically HS grads carrying deadly weapons, convinced I want to shoot them.
