Blizzcon tickets on sale - May 21 and May 25th

Tried to go for the past 2 years and just never got a ticket to go. Going to try again this year and hope I can get 2. Sucks about the price going up, but hopefully it is worth it.

Price for the video stream is not bad, just hope it is not as buggy as it was last year for myself.

I keep considering going again (went in 2009), but it gets rather pricey ($800-1000). Last year, I bought some AV components instead 😛.

I've been every year so far (I was super lucky to get tickets for the 3rd one) but this is the first year I'm seriously considering not going.

Except for the Tenacious D concert, playing D3 and the SC2 tourney it was really dull last time. Then to top it off we had to put up with Farva-looking (but way less funny) Paul Sams sitting there taunting us about how they basically didn't announce anything at the convention.

Of course they'll probably pull Legacy of the Swarm, the next WoW expansion and Titan out of their hat this time around so.... bleh.

Yay!
OK, I need tips on how to gain 300 pounds and where to find clothes that no person should ever wear in public.
I don't want to stand out. 🙁

I think Pizza, Mountain Dew, Potato Chips and Ranch dressing are a good place to start.

For your costume I'd suggest the Warlock T0 set from Vanilla WoW. Bonus points if your mom sewed it for you. Double bonus if you get your sister to follow you around dressed as a succubus.

Don't forget to not cut your hair or shave before the convention.

Just a few tips I picked up.

id like to go but tickets sell out way to fucking fast

also plane flights across the country are annoyingly expensive

think ill buy some Salks instead, itll prob end up being cheaper

I'd go just to hear and see anything and everything being shown, told, actualized or even rumored about Diablo III, but I don't have the money for that kind of thing right now unfortunately. To be honest I can't really care less about everything else Blizzard can come up with outside of Diablo III, but damn, yeah, if I could I would try to go this year.

Played D3 at 2009 blizzcon .. made it all worth it! that, and the costumes people wear ....

So, I ended up caving and decided I'd go again this year. Got lucky with my clicking (2300th in queue) and ended up getting tickets for me and my friends.

Anyone else got fast fingers?

Nah, I don't even care to go anymore... maybe if I lived in SoCal, but I don't feel like blowing $1000+ on the trip.

I went last year - for the last hour. It seems to go up $25 every year. Not sure it's worth it, really. Also, not going lets someone who really want to go do so.

The WoW PvP last rounds were actually pretty exciting. The crowd was more passionate that I remember ones at professional sports - when a player would get low on health the crowd, all standing packed, hundreds of them - would loudly gasp and make other sounds. There is the online ticket option, too...
