at launch horde chars travel to frostfire and help frostwolf clan who decided not to join the iron horde.

They had a cinematic for Heroes of the Storm that showed Raynor + Nova + Tyrael vs. Lich King + Diablo + Queen of Blades. It had some crazy flying, energy ball throwing action... StarCraft Ball Z style! 😛

Oh that video. heh, yeah saw that one. I thought it was cool but way too short. But can't blame them given how expensive it is to even make a 3 min full cgi video.
 
looking at char models side by side, looks like going from an 8 bit to 64 bit game.

3 tiers of upgrades.

ingame achievements give access to monuments to display in garrison.

at max tier buildings in garrison can chose a specialty, kinda like having a new talent for your char.
 
sounds like there will be empty land plots in all the zones where you can develop your town similar to hos the farm currently is, assuming you zone in by yourself when you cross the barrier.
 
wow inventory:

collections becoming account wide similar to pets/mounts

included:heirlooms, toys, 'maybe' tabards.
 
follower's sound somewhat like in SWTOR. Garrisons could be cool. Imagine you can invite others to your "instance" to show off trophies etc.

They should do something with tabards. We shouldn't have to grind rep for the same faction with more than 1 character imo so maybe allowing new characters to boost rep gains by wearing tabs in dungeons
 
Massive overhaul of bags, can be renamed, sort queues applied etc...


Quest items no longer stored on the char.

Can craft directly from bank bags (would be great if account wide too)
 
a new item guide like an enhanced atlasloot.


new level 100 talents, 2 starter zones playable at the con.

talents will have different effects per spec.
 
I don't understand their fascination with re-using existing zones and instances. It was kind of necessary the first time to rework the quests and such in vanilla, but I'm kinda over it. I guess we'll have to wait and see how much is actually reused.

EDIT: Also, thanks for the updates. Can't get to much else at work =)
 
holy crap,I said they should revise all raids as just normal or heroic with LFRable flex raiding.

sounds like it is getting close to that point.
 
well that's odd...


So they almost did what I said they should, and all raiding is flexible, normal or heroic 10-25.

But they added a 20 man mythic difficulty tier and left LFR separate.
 
pvp zone is one of the isles, no start/stop time just endless bashing.

there are objectives/quest to do.

island faction cross realmed to try and establish faction balance.
