Has anyone been able to get through to Blizzard Tech Support for Diablo II? When we try to play in 3D mode our screen goes all black and snowy. This on an Viper 770 Ultra under Win98. (Not sure of the Mobo, it's hubby's 'puter, but I think its a via chipset.) I haven't tried it yet on my machine. His is more optimized for gaming than mine.

Anyways...

We can't even leave mail in the mailbox to have someone call us back. All we get is that the mailbox is full. *sigh*

Oh well... 2d it is... for now....

EERG! I got through on e-mail. I wrote a nice long letter detailing my systems and exatcly what steps I had taken to attempt to fix it. The tech guy didn't even read my e-mail. He just sent back this form letter telling me to "Make sure I fit the minimum system requirements" (I'd already given him a summary of my system.) And "Download the latest patch and all the latest hardware drivers" (Also already done and included in my initial e-mail to him)

I think Blizzard hires people for their tech support who flunked the AOL tech support quiz.

Shame on Blizzard for releasing a shoddy incompete game before it was finished! I would have gladly waited another six months for them to finish writing it.
