I used to run into cheaters playing Age of Empires II all the time. Took all the fun out of the game and I would only play against friends online after awhile.

I'm glad Blizzard has taken some action.

It was a 2 week ban because many people who cheated felt that Blizzard would never take them seriously enough to ban them for life. Also there are people on the bnet tech support channel who never cheat, but got caught because one of their allies in an arranged game cheated or they gave a key to a friend who cheated. Those people are warned and need to be warned.

Which brings this qusetion. Lets say you're in a Random team game (those people werent banned, only arranged) and you random teammate cheats. What will you do? Lose the game and lose a crap load of exp (thus being heroic and taking a loss) or "cheat" to win?

Other than that, I would say multiple infringements, and you need a permament ban.

take the win

save replay

send it to blizzard; have them banned
