Blinking Light on Mobo

I was trying to power a twelve volt light in a switch for a car, to make it a power on switch, when I accidently fed twelve volts from the molex right into the front panel headers 😱 . Now when i plug in the 20 pin the led that is normally solid blinks. Have I shorted my motherboard.

It is an ASUS board with Intel Chipset in an HP dc5700. Core 2 duo @1.86 ghz.
I hope its a psu problem. Thanks.

I was trying to put a new power on switch for my mobo, but it wasnt supplying enough power for the light that is in the switch so i tried to power it with the molex on the PSU, becuase it is twelve volts. I wasnt paying attention and hooked up some wires wrong and it just shorted.

I dont think its the PSU becuase i can jump it and it runs just fine. THis is my test stuff that i recieved for free so its not a big deal.
