aww i thought musically they were really starting to mature. their old stuff was too dirty (though I know a lot of people like that, my wife included) but I thought their most recent two albums were really moving them forward musically. their popularity (or lack thereof, whichever you believe, I don't really care) meant nothing to me, and i was looking forward to what they did next musically. guess i'll have to wait...

Im tired and dont give a crap right now... I never knew of anything outside of Damnit, and the psued- hits on the cd that came out after that then they dissapeared and frankly i didnt give a rats ass.
This is what they said last time. Don't worry. Hopefully this time they'll feel like sticking to their roots a bit more.

I liked them, never took em as too serious of a band but then again I don't really think they did either. 
There is a lot of bandwagon hostility against em, but then again I've never really thought the majority of AT had very good taste in music anywhom. METALLICA!!! gimme a break

Their last album was excellent... and was a commercial success, no?
I thought Blink 182, their last album was their best effort to date, and made me a fan.

For the record the last great album Metallica released was probably Master of Puppets. Yes yes, 91's "black" album was good but I think MoP is still the last great one.
Sabbath/Ozzy > Metallica

Okay, I still think ALL Metallica (hell all metal in general) sucks ass, but that is way off topic. I just find it odd that people slam Blink 182 and yet listen to sh!t like that.
