[dumb rant of the day]
I just got off work, and I'll be frank, I was delivering a pizza in the ghetto tonight. I saw this guy with his two sons and their tricycle and big wheel - the father was putting tin foil in the spokes of the wheels on both bikes - trying to simulate chrome wheels

As I turned the corner a little bewildered, I saw that he had an old '90s beat up caprice in the driveway sitting on 20's.

It's not to funny, but just goes to show how whacked some people's priorities are. The rims + tires are easily over $5k. "I live in a crappy and dangerous neighborhood, in a dillapidated house, and my kids are running around bearfooted with tattered clothes, but hey, i've got bing bling ;) "

I've always been around brooklyn, because my father's business is there, and it's all like that. All these people (leaving ethnicity out) live in houses that are falling apart, yet they have a beat up car with large chrome rims or spinners. It really dumbfounds me.

I see that alot in Tucson.
Some idiot driving a beat up 80's domestic with gold plated 13" wheels. And no, it's not a lowrider.
Other f-tards drive around in 80's Nissans with the same gold wheels but now they stick out 10" outside the car.

Yeah, that's cool.

Yeah..makes it all the better.

Quite a few times I have talked to people buying EXPENSIVE new rims and I always ask them if they are going to get new rotors and callipers to match...I always get the ame answer

"WTF do I need those for?"

yeah, the whole rims thing pisses me off.

But on a happy note, at least the dad was trying to make his children happy... since he probably spent their lunch money on a dime bag earlier that day.

Priorities? If they knew anything about priorities they wouldn't live in ghetto.

Maybe i dont' speak ebonics, but wtf are you talking about?

The person in question drives an older model domestic car equipped with wheels that have a 20" diameter, which will from this point forward be referred to as "dubs", or "20's". Would you like some cheese on the cracka sir?

Which part of Crooklyn ? I haven't seen too many places in Brooklyn like you describe there. Lots of Lexus' and Beemers actually.
