Anyone watch this? 1st episode was pretty good imo.

Has a The Blacklist feel to it.

Plus it's got Damien Scott (well, the actor who play him) from Strike Back as the main character.

Looks like it's a new NBC series? Haven't heard of it but I'll try and remember to check it out cause it looks interesting. And yeah, Sullivan Stapleton is boss.

Watched it yesterday. Not terrible. We'll have to see where it goes.

It's DEFINITELY better than Minority Report. (BUT, since MR is a Fox show...that's not too surprising)

I think the show would be better if it actually was crossover and it was Damien Scott from Strike Back. Apparently the other guy has a show on NBC too with Wesley Snipes.

Blindspot seems OK, but between Prison Break, John Doe and The Blacklist I feel like I've already seen this show. Whats funny was when the bomb squad guy see its a naked girl in the duffle bag and freaks outs.

is she wearing a body suit or does she have to go thru the body art every time?
and why is it called blindspot? stupid name. would have missed the show if it weren't for rottentomatoes.

btw-they gave minority report a huge thumbsdown

edit:
and what is up w/that mole on her face?

ahh.. long range story arc since she was a kid.

kinda like Sam the Serial Killer in the Profiler.
Sam knew the Profiler when she was a kid.

also like Blacklist.
Red was present when Keen was age 4 and her dad was killed in front of her.

everyone's past is intertwined.
that the new popular tv series story plot now-a-days?

Been wondering if its a suit of some kind myself. Sometimes it looks like her skin is a bit off or really loose.

I like the show, mainly for Jaime Alexander but I also like puzzle-type stories. Yeah, it's a common meme but having a sub-plot like that makes what seems to be just another procedural crime show a little more interesting. The concept really reminds me a little of Person of Interest with the now apparent, high-level (or maybe low-level) govt conspiracy and opposing factions. Although the similarities to Blacklist don't go unnoticed.

It might be worth mentioning that the show is also similar to the last show where she had a major role - Kyle XY.

I am still trying to figure out how they searched her dna yet somehow did not run it against the missing children's database until the latest episode.

Would they have DNA from a 20 year old missing child case? I dont think they searched for it; he had a specific person in mind so they knew where to get a DNA sample.

DNA typing wasn't done until the mid80's and didn't really become common until the early to mid 90's - depending on how you define "common." So if a child went missing in 1995, you might still have items in evidence such as clothing that could be used to get a source sample assuming that the local PD did a good job of archiving evidence. But otherwise, you'd be SoL.

This is my issue.

They said they ran her through all the databases yet somehow the missing children's database did not come up with a hit and it's something they did that was rather stupid as a way to make her someone from the main cop's past.

Hell I might even believe the databse issue if it wasn't the freaking FBI doing it. :p

A quick google shows they are paper transfer versions thus no body suit so even hotter. ;)

First of he Weller didnt think it was Taylor until like the 2nd episode when he saw the scar on her neck. 2nd i dont think running a grown ass woman against a missing child database would be done in a case like this unless they had evidence to believe she might be missing since childhood, as mentioned above. In a case like this they would be looking for missing adults not children.

I meant I didnt think her DNA would be in a missing child db due to her age. But yeah, getting a sample to compare against a specific individual is easy enough. I think thats how it played out in the show.

im thinking blindspot doesn't fit as the name of the show.
Blankspace would be a better name?

Forgot about this show, lol. I'll try and watch an episode tonight.

god, the political BS about someone taking her job as head of the NY office is sooooo stupid.
no suspense.
there's no doubt in my mind she stays unless they kill her off.

was better when the CIA asst director was her antagonist.

True, but I'm sort of glad that they got rid of him. Otherwise it would have been like one of those comic book arch nemesis deals where the bad guy never actually dies.

I don't really like this show but watch it. Mainly for Jaime Alexander. The premise originally made some amount of sense but as time passes, the value of the information should start to decay. I think they need to introduce another illustrated man/woman soon.

This. The plot holes are enormous and the acting is meh but dang she is hot.

And I didn't realize the lady that plays head of the office was British until I saw her in Broadchurch.

Kinda funny that the guy trying to take her job was PC in the Apple Mac and PC commercials. He looks more sinister with a mustache. lol

She is nice, but her mole gets more air time than her, it seems to always get in the way.

It is like one of those things that all of the sudden screams "Hello! I am right here!" and draws your attention to it.

Don't know if it is the lighting or what, but it is annoying.
