I had to replace my dead Maxtor hard drive and when I opened the case, man, was there a lot of dust.

Took it outside and blew the case out with my Toro leaf blower.

170 MPH of concentrated air !!

woo hoo !

Came out clean as a whistle (whatever that means).

haha... good work.. i'm always afraid of blowing that much air at high pressure into my PC.. still working fine eh? good stuff..

Returned the 40gb 7200 maxtor under warrantee. Less than a year old.

Maxtor was very prompt in sending a new one but I did lose some stuff. I was a little remiss in my backing up.
