I take care of my teeth but this morning my gums bled when I brushed my teeth. I mean I never see blood, not even a spot but today it looked like I was hemorrhaging. What the hell could cause this between brushing my teeth before bedtime and this morning?

Do you floss? If not, gums will bleed, but you say they never bleed. So, you should see a dentist. Don't self diagnose on google. You will get paranoid doing that.

yeah I floss. This is the first time this has ever happened . Kinda scary having it happen all the sudden. I guess I'll keep an eye on it.

You might have some kind of infection. try to use some mouthwash for the next few days, or even salt water. Might make it go away.

I find sometimes I get something that is almost like an abscess and will bleed, but after a while it goes away. Feel for a bump and painful spot on your gums, it might be that.

Really? You'd go to a dentist for bleeding gums?

your gums are either really tender or you are brushing your teeth & gums too hard to cause them to bleed

if you floss everyday, you shouldn't see gum bleeding very often

it can still happen if stuff gets stuck in between your gums or if there's food debris left in a hard to brush spot near the gum line

You never bleed?

My gums bleed here and there all the time. And I floss too. I guess I just have sensitive gums... my dentist says my gums look good when I visit.

Define crazy.. you mean like flowing? From 1 localized area or all over?

You may have pricked yourself or surprise stage 4 gingivitis.

God be with you.

You need to floss more.

You might have a cavity between your teeth.
Food can get stuck in there and infect your gums.
That happened to me.
After the cavity was fixed, so more bleeding when flossing that gap.

You may have an infection. Do you floss? How about any medical problems? Diabetes? Bleeding is not normal. Deep cleaning? Hard to diagnose if that's all you give me.

Why is it recommended to floss 2 times a day?

Why floss in the morning when you already flossed at night.
