For those buying WiFi card, don't get the D-Link. It's extremely bulky and blocks everything, even the stylus. I think I am going to switch to SMC. Symbol makes a CF1 card that can let you access both stylus and SD card while plugged in, but the best price I can find is around $150.
 
Is the rebate still valid on this bad boy, seems that they pulled it from their site and I can't find it hosted anywhere

Just picked up one from Madison / 56th Staples mid-town location. $50 rebate form printed out at check out. $299.99 - $40 (coupon) + $21.45 (tax at 8.25%) = $281.44 - $50 (MIB) = $231.44 (net after 8+ weeks). Store manager told me that they have no more 2 left.
 
The Maestro has now disappeared from Staples Online. I should have acted sooner.

thermodyne, did you have any problems w/ the $40 coupon? I might give the B&M a try tomorrow.


Update: the Maesto has reappeared in the system, but is now OOS for me (19406). Anyone one know a zip where it's in stock?
 
It was out of stock when I checked, so I called it in and said I was willing to wait the three days it would take to arrive. $40 coupon and luggage to boot.

Still have plenty of time - the rebate is good until 6/16/2002.

Should I be worried that this thing isn't listed on staplesrebatee.com even though the PDF states to register and check status on there??
 
Does anyone has a scan of the UPC from the Audiovox box? The rebate center has all of my info but I sent them the Serial number bar code instead of the UPC and the rebate won't go through without it. They did say I could fax them a copy of the UPC but I no longer have the box. Can anyone help me out with a scan of the UPC?

Would very much appreciate it.

I've not seen it in stock anywhere, but I have an extra one (due to buying from two places and after long backorders and delays, both came in). It's new in the box, UPC is still attached, heck it's never even been turned on. I have the shipping receipt as well, so you'll have all the paperwork on it. I'd like to get $290, which is what I paid for it ($299.99 - $30 coupon + 8.1% WA tax).

It's not available online anymore, but go into your local Staples and see if they have any in-stock. I found one at my local staples about 2 weeks ago, so there still might be a chance.
 
Anybody received the $50 MIR yet? Mine says approved on rebateshq.com and will be mailed out within 30 days (this was in late April) but still no sign of it..
 
swNYC you need to call them people! Once in awhile a rebate does get overlooked and it will sit there until you call them.
