i just finished reloading xp.:brokenheart:
the reason is a bho called blazefind. it is the single most nasty peice of spyware i have ever found.
i am not even sure how i caught it but i ran a scan with spyware sweeper and there it was. hmm surly must be spyware or malware of the driveby sort. well i removed it rebooted and bingo there it is. i was after some research able to find out that indeed this is a hijacker it redirects all searches to blazefinds search site "no doubt also loaded with malware monsters in waiting:shocked: interestingly that did not happen to me
norton doesnt catch it and using spybot ,adaware and spysweeper did no good.
well i found a prog called hijack this and managed to break windows with it i think in retrospec i could have actualy gotten the job done with that one . oh well be warned and please excuse the spelling i dont have my editor installed yet
