blasting music from afar

I was hoping to set up an mp3 server on my home pc so I can listen to my music collection while I am away from home. Is there an easy program for this? I tried Audigen but it's too complicated, I also tried AujooBlast but I couldn't connect. Is there a better choice?

I used to use an Apache daemon to host password-protected mp3s from my dorm to my job back when I was working/studying at Saint Leo University. I used to bug my roommate by going into the machine with SSH and using mp3blaster to remotely play mp3 files without even being there.

Ajooblast worked for me, but it required a fair bit of upload bandwidth to be able to use without frequent buffering.
