Blast From The PAST!!!

Remember when you use to wear...

Swatches, but if you didn't have a Swatch Guard you were a LOSER! Oh, and the more you had on your arm...the better!!

New jeans, but not unless you cut all kinds of holes in them!!

Take your hair and tease it, but not before you took the sides of your hair out like wings...

What about the sock...white, and blue on one foot, and then blue and white on the other foot!!

What about the multi colored leg warmers...

Necklaces with the initial beads on them that spelled out your name?

Jean Jackets with patches on them...more rock patches the better.

What about the michael jackson leather jacket??

Feather clips for you hair!

Rat Tails in your hair...the longer it was the cooler you were.

{b} What were we thinking??

What did you do for style and popularity???????????????????? Come on------we all did it!

Corduroy pants, desert boots (from Thom McCan's of course) and hair that covered my ears like EAR MUFFS.

I actually have a few pictures of me in a LEISURE SUIT! It was for the 4th grade school picture and I had a groovin' rust color leisure suit. GARANIMALS of course. 😉

Micromini skirts...no, wait, they're back...

Jeans with leg hems bigger than the waist...no, they're back, too...

Long, straight hair, both sexes...whoops, that's standard these days...

Polyester disco suits...
Hmmm...
Found something...
But who would want those back???

Lady Niniane

😉

Hypercolor shirts.

Only problem is that people would come up and breathe on it (as in put their mouth on your shirt and breathe on it to make it change colors), that was just sick, but you don't realize that stuff back then.

I remember wrapping the bottom of my blue jeans around my ankle and putting a safety pin in them. Can't remember what that was called but it was the coolest thing to do back in 4th or 5th grade...which was about 8-9 years ago 😱

I never liked hypercolor shirts all that much, cause the area around my armpits would change color and it would look kind of funky hehe.

Anyone remember those slap bracelets? I thought those were the coolest hehe.

What about the sock...white, and blue on one foot, and then blue and white on the other foot!!

hehe i still wear socks like that 🙂

I sure am glad that I didn't go for that kinda stuff.

Throughout Jr. High and High School I wore cowboy boots, Wrangler jeans, and button down shirts (not dress shirts).

Now I wear basically the same stuff. I prefer button down shirts (not dress shirts) or Henley's, Jeans (Arizona mostly), and either Reeboks or some sort of hiking type boot.

I really need to get a new pair of cowboy boots tho... 🙂

<< What did you do for style and popularity >>

Nothing either people like me for who and what I am, or they don't like me and I don't want them to.

leg warmers!

Faded jeans with holes in the knees...the newer your jeans looked the lamer you were!

Biker shorts, Bermuda shorts, and in my particular high-school, keds.
If you wore keds everyone knew you were the hottest item.

Man, we thought we looked so cool! and 20 years from now our kids are gonna look at our current pics and say: "wow, you look so powerfully uncool"🙂

<< OK guys and gals, it's time for a backwards skate! >>

Oh that brings back some memories..... 😀

I remember the thirty five bracelets up the arm, Madonna headbands and lace gloves, and teasing my hair until I could have put somebodys eye out. I remember having to comb it out at night too. :Q What about sweaters that never stayed on your shoulder, with a tank top underneath, and of course, spandex. 😉

Yea I remember the Hypercolor shirts. It was gross when people breathed on you.

The slap bracelets??? Uh.... I thought I was the only one that remembered them.

What about the Reebok Pump sneakers? Yep gimme a sec cuz I gotta pump my sneaks the add a whole 0" to my vertical.

One trend that always made me laugh were the 8-Ball jackets. What the hell were people thinking? I'll always remember the Seinfeld episode where Puddy got a 8-Ball jacket. "If you got a problem...... talk to the 8-Ball!!!"

Windogg

Viper, were the same age right? 23? I remember many of them but glad to have been too young to be sucked in (legwarmers). Unfortunatly, the whole "dayglo" thing caught me off guard.

Elaine: "Are you gonna wear that thing ALL the time?"
Puddy: "All signs point to YES!" 😛
