I know you are but what am I?

Blair's got good friends on every side of the aisle. Blair was asking advice from Bush too, does it say the same about him? I like to think so...:)

He was hurting politically and needed to know how to get votes...why not talk to the man that convinced more than half of the voters on 2 different occasions to elect his sorry self..

I give Clinton the credit of being a smooth talking political smoozer that can normally talk people of average or below average intellect into his way of thinking..He is a masterful politician and speaker

Blair was wise to seek his council

I did not know I was in the company of such an intellectual that they could determine the capability of my mind....pray oh great one, tell me how you have learned so much wisdom and insight throughout the years that you can be this cognitive? Is it the years and years that you have spent reflecting on life or the years and years that you have been spouting your vituperative although sometimes witty remarks towards all those you deem beneath you?

Pray do tell....

Through out the campaign to get votes in through the UN, Blair had meetings with Clinton to talk about the political situation between Europe and the US.

Despite what you may think of the man's morals, he is a masterful politician and very intelligent political analyst and it says volumes when Tony Blair asks for his advice.

If a sleeze like Clinton can get reelected than he does know that part of the political process. That of course says nothing about the validity of his policies or his effectiveness once he is in office.

Where's the 'if' in that proposition. Bush got elected proving it. Naturally, it took the help of the Supreme Coup. But not only is he a sleaze, he's an unaccomplished one, utterly lacking in intellect or ethic. The validity of Bush's policy, rests of course, on military might. The Bush genius lies in his puppetry. An empty suit makes for easily pulled strings.

OMG, spare me your lame ass rhetoric. The man holds degrees from Yale and Harvard....you? I'm not saying he's the smartest guy around, but he definitely not as bad as the decidedly liberal media portays him to be.

Under his policies minorities flourished in the states, they had better education, better housing.

Internationally, he was the most respected president since Kennedy very popular with world leaders and respected immensely by then young upstart prime minister of Britain, Tony Blair.

His sound economic policies allowed for the boom of late 90's, he wasnt directly responsible for it but neither did he stop it... under him federal spending was under control and he had the biggest surplus in the nation's history. Under his policies, Unemployment declined to very low historic levels.

Sounds pretty effective to me.

of course his downfal is he is not hawkish enough to the neo-con, not to mention he is also getting "some" while most of the old neo-con crowd could even get theirs to stand up...
