Blackwater performs flawlessly

Since this is the active Blackwater thread I'll put this here.

Blackwater Chairman Erik Prince defended his company today. Saying he would welcome legislation that would place Blackwater employees working for the State Department to be subject to prosecution by US courts.

Use any rationale you want. What's your logic for remaining in a country you have such disdain for?

HAHA people like me are the problem? why, because i don't fall in line? fuck you.

i'll type slower so you can understand: you people are the problem, not us. sitting back and supporting a government that's wrong makes YOU WRONG. not only that, but it's inherently unamerican and unpatriotic. i'm not leaving this country for a few reasons:

3, i'm not going to quit school and go to another country... that's ridiculous.

I'll repeat a question that others have posed to you:

Why haven't you enlisted yet?

People like you, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bush, Rush, Woflowicz, etc., etc. are the problem with America. You all want to have our country fighting wars all over the globe but not a single one of you have the balls to go and do it.

Until you can show in scanned orders of when you deploy to Iraq, STFU.

No, because you aren't working towards a solution. Calling the USA "the enemy" is really all we need to know.

Anotherwards, the USA is still the greatest country on earth, and you are too cowardly to put your feet where your mouth are. Thankfully an entire new generation is working tirelessly to preserve your right to spew such venom. You're a disgrace. :|

And I'll repeat the same answer I have several times before, when the little "chickenhawk" liberals play that card: Because I don't have to. Isn't it great living in a free country?

Now, until you can come in with something other than insults and personal attacks, please return to your desk.

is that all you read? are you really that big of a moron that you can't understand the entirety of what i was saying? you really are the king of taking things out of context and running with it like a dumbass carrying a football to his own endzone.

"WE ARE THE ENEMY... WE ARE OUR OWN ENEMY"... apparently typing it slowly didn't help, so i typed it in caps for you.

the analogy stands... if you shoot yourself in the foot, the foot is not the enemy for causing pain. you're your own enemy for shooting the foot. you don't get mad at your foot... you get mad at yourself and ask, "why the hell did i do something so stupid? that really hurt."

we shot ourselves in the foot.

by the way, how many other countries in the world have you lived in for longer than a few months? how do you have the balls to say that america is the best country on earth when you haven't lived in every other country on earth and NOT consider yourself a dumb, ignorant motherfucker?

personally, i haven't lived in any other country for longer than a few weeks. i don't know what the best country in the world is, but i like where i am well enough and i like the potential it has to become what it should be... and the reason why is because our constitution allows for that to occur... it actually was MADE for that to occur. if things get out of line, eventually, it will come back to neutral.

honestly, i'm wondering if your parents gave you lead paint chips as a kid and told you they were fritos.

i wish you had the balls to give that answer to all the families of the soldiers who died in the war you wanted but were too lazy or too big of a pussy to fight for. you're all balls until it comes time to walk the walk.

I didn't take anything out of context.

"WE ARE THE ENEMY... WE ARE OUR OWN ENEMY"... apparently typing it slowly didn't help, so i typed it in caps for you.

That's called a non sequitir. Your analogy isn't an analogy at all.

we shot ourselves in the foot.

You've presented absolutely nothing in this thread but a hate for America and a host of personal attacks and insults. You are clearly incapable of having a logical, coherent discussion or debate like an adult.

shut the hell up... all you ever do is take what people say out of context. i said that we're our own enemy.

i guess you're just too stupid to understand... i'm not going to waste anymore time trying to explain the fact that we're producing more enemies which kill us simply by fighting. if you smoke and get lung cancer, it's not the cancer you should be mad at... it should be yourself for smoking in the first place. now that you've discovered the cancer, you stop smoking and figure out the best course of treatment to stop the cancer from spreading. you don't keep smoking and say "i'm going to smoke the cancer out of my body, dammit!" and curse the cancer for the metastases around your body because you "stayed the course".

if that analogy doesn't explain it, you're easily the dumbest person on the internet.

The personal insults are getting a bit ridiculous.

OK, fine, the US is it own worst enemy... it's also still the greatest and most powerful country in the world. Thus, it should not be difficult for us to fix what is broken, right? The problem is that we must do so without leaving the world in a worse state than where it was to begin with. That means we have to get out of the year 2003 and consider the facts as they are now. Given those facts, we MUST come up with a solution that leads to a more secure and peaceful Iraq... it's a moral imperative.

We're strong enough, smart enough, tenacious enough, and patient enough to get the job done correctly... right Eits?

I've found that people who have this opinion are usually those that haven't traveled much and visited other countries. Those that have usually admit there are good and bad aspects about America, as there with any nation. How many have you visited? Do you see + or - things about America?

I'm genuinely curious.

Whatever I tried to get this thread back on track. I'm getting fed up with researching things around here that just get buried due to rapid fire flame fests that adds three pages to the thread in 5 minutes.

with the current thinkers in washington? no... i don't think we fit those criteria.

the iraqi people do not want us there and, moreover, it's severing ties with other countries. moral imperative, schmoral imperative. we should get out of there, let the iraqi people settle their differences, and tell them that if they can create a democracy and if they prove to us that they're honestly working hard at making it work, then we will give them a monthly allowance to help rebuild their own country. that sounds a lot safer, in my opinion. we'd be spending less money than we are right now, we wouldn't be losing lives left and right, and they'd have the motivation to get cracking on rebuilding their country the way we see fit (with progress reports) by giving them money. we'd make sure every dollar is accounted for and not going to things they shouldn't be going towards.

obviously, there are probably many flaws that i can't see right now in this plan, but it's just a quick brainstorm outside the box that i think legislators should start trying.

Well, I've done plenty of traveling. So I guess that throws a wrench in your hypothesis.

Do I see pluses and negatives here? Of course. But I will still say the USA is the greatest country on earth, and it is backed up by the legions of people who will risk life and limb to get here at all costs.

This isn't the forum nor the thread to discuss my favorite destinations or my opinions on them, and I doubt anyone really cares.

Your exact words, from a previous post in this very thread:

no, we're the enemy. we're our own enemy.

Were those not your words?

Your analogies suck, and your rash of personal attacks and insults display to this entire board your lack of maturity and inability to conduct a debate.

Sure no problem. Off the top of my head I've been to Austria, Poland, Hungary, Czech, Switzerland, Italy, Kuwait, Kosovo, Macedonia, Iraq, France, and lived in Germany for 6 and a half years. Never been to any of the pacific / asia countries or africa (yet). Now granted the mideast countries I wasn't there to sightsee, but I've been around and I'll state for the record that:

America is the greatest country on the face of the earth.

And of course there are some things about us that we could do better, but not enough that I'd be willing to ever, ever, ever go somewhere else to live my life.
