Yeah, but you think women in short skirts deserve to be raped too, so nobody should even pay attention to your opinion CitizenLame.

Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo?

So we have quotes by unidentified and unverified persons in a story published by The Nation, self-described as "the flagship of the left."
Do you have any charges against The Nation's journalistic standards, or simply their political leanings? I'm guessing it's just the latter based on the fact that you had no issue starting a thread based on unidentified and unverified persons from the winguts at Debka.

I think you might be enlightened by getting outside of your comfort zone and reading a bit more than Democrat Party press releases and talking point regurgitators.

These three excellent books by Bernard Goldberg would be a good start -

A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (And Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media

and

Bias: A CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distort the News

and

Arrogance: Rescuing America From the Media Elite

The Partisan Press: A History of Media Bias in the United States by Si Sheppard might tickle you if you want a bit of history with your morning espresso shot.

Keep trying to derail the discussion away from the facts, but it won't change them.

If there's a microgram of humanity left in you, you don't even have to go as far as disproving the allegations. All you have to do is agree that the charges, as stated, describe serioius crimes that should not be tolerated and wait to see what the evidence shows.

I seriously doubt that you have any way to disprove these charges against Prince and Blackwater. I know I don't have all the facts. I just want to see the whole truth about what they've done as well as their questionable relationships with the Bushwhackos.

Yep.

Certainly not you since you've only been to P&N in the last 2 weeks 🙂

Care to refute their points, or are you just going to deflect some more???

"I sense something, a presence I've not felt since ..."

Harvey sez,

PJABBER said,

If Prince did what he is accused of, or ordered anything close to what he is accused of, and I highly doubt he would considering his background, he should be hung up high.

I believe the standard reply, and one that I adhere to, is that the man is to be considered innocent until proven guilty.

Time will tell. But if I were you I wouldn't hold my breath in the hope these charges have much behind them and do more than regurgitate previous attempts to castigate and to besmirch, now for the sake of monetary gain.

The broader debate should be about the appropriateness of the use of contracted private military and security forces in the furtherance of U.S. geopolitics.

Good enough. We agree.

The broader debate should be about the appropriateness of the use of contracted private military and security forces in the furtherance of U.S. geopolitics.

And we agree again.

Well then, since in fact I hold considerable disdain for both major parties, your retort only further demonstrates how delusional you are.

Coming from the guy who plagerizes websites and claims it as his own work. That kind of thought? How to copy and paste other people's work and claim it as your own? If thats what you mean by thought, then I guess you may be right about PJABBER.

How is that related to the accusation that Erik Prince may have murdered or facilitated the murder of individuals who were cooperating with federal authorities investigating Blackwater?

How is that related to the accusation that he and Blackwater trafficked in illegal arms and ammunition?

How is that related to the accusation and his murder for hire gang are on a messianic self-styled Christian crusade as stone whack as any fundimentalist Islamic jihadi?

how is it not illegal for mercenaries to be hired for use in war?

I mean, doesn't that create a ginormous propensity for corruption, not to mention inflict a huge morale hit on volunteer troops who don't get a normal paycheck? (On the other hand, I'd bet mercs don't get some of the perks of being in the military.)

Nonetheless, the propensity for corruption alone, one would think, would speak volumes.

I linked to the source for the quote in the OP, I never claimed it as my own, and I included all accreditation on the page in my quote.

Your statement is a freaking lie, it's off topic and it's a personal attack. And you're the same brain dead troll who can't post ONE credible link, quote, fact, name, date or statute to support his often stated accusations that President Obama is a murderer and a traitor.

And the song, lyrics and copyright are mine. :music: 😎

Its now a personal attack to point out that you are plagerizing the work of others and passing it off as your own? You claimed you did all this research. I haven't seen much proof of you doing anything but copying others.

Oh yeah, a personal attack would be you posting the following:

Obviously, not you. Thought doesn't seem to be part of your skill set.

I guess that was a 'factual' post? Give me a break Harvey. Grow a pair.

It is? The first sentence in my OP credits the author and the source:

One word for Jeremy Scahill's report in The Nation is "scary."

That's followed by a link directly to the original source site for the story. Obviously, you don't know the first thing about intellectual property law, or you'd know that posting such material for public discussion with full accreditation is called "fair use."

No, that was sarcasm playing with PJABBER's equally sarcastic post:

Did I plagerize that, too?

Seems to be a reply based on what someone else said, but hey that's just me reading the entire quoted discussion.

FNE: Start sending PMs (unless your vacation was screwed up leaving you without access at all to AT) to D.W along with emails (which is probably better anyway as it takes him effort at least to delete those from his regular email account).

You're a fucking piece of shit. Do you have any proof whatsoever that those men ever did anything to deserve what happened to them? I know several people that were employed by BW and they would never do anything like what is alleged in the OP. I'm pretty sure that you're just trolling but I have no doubt that some of the other leftist whackos here share your thoughts.

Here's a shock for ya JD -- I agree that, unless CitizenKain can document that the guys who were strung up were the guilty parties, his post was overboard.

Sadly, we know for a fact that Blackwater has committed crimes against Iraqis.

F.B.I. Says Guards Killed 14 Iraqis Without Cause

By DAVID JOHNSTON and JOHN M. BRODER
Published: November 14, 2007

WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 ? Federal agents investigating the Sept. 16 episode in which Blackwater security personnel shot and killed 17 Iraqi civilians have found that at least 14 of the shootings were unjustified and violated deadly-force rules in effect for security contractors in Iraq, according to civilian and military officials briefed on the case.

The F.B.I. investigation into the shootings in Baghdad is still under way, but the findings, which indicate that the company?s employees recklessly used lethal force, are already under review by the Justice Department.
.
.
(continues)

I don't condone innocent people, including Blackwater mercs, being strung up, but I can understand Iraqis' hostility when they're living in a war zone and seeing identifiable Blackwater mercs gunning down their own innocent people.

I still lay all of it back to the Bushwhackos who lied to start the whole hellish mess in Iraq and put Blackwater there under no bid contracts.

Just as all pedophiles are Republicans all murders are Christians. People are stupid. They look at the surface. You're a Republican, then you're a person of family values, etc.
